Dyspepsia (Indigestion) – Causes, symptoms, treatment and recommended diets

Dyspepsia commonly known as indigestion, is a difficult, painful and abnormal digestion.

SYMPTOMS

The SYMPTOMS of dyspepsia includes
* Eructation
* Flatulence{an excess intestinal gas which causes intestinal spasms and abdominal distension}
* Discomfort/abdominal distension and acidity.

CAUSES
The cause of dyspepsia is a diet-related issue. It is essential to correct these causes in order to cure functional dyspepsia.The following factors aggravate/initiate dyspepsia
* Eating at regular hours
* Eating food too fast
* Excess fat and consumption of foods that often cause DIGESTIVE INTOLERANCE
* Stress or nervous tension
* a diet rich in junk food.

RECOMMENDED DIETS
The following foods may be increased to treat indigestion

PAPAYA, SALADS, WHOLE GRAINS, SQUASH and MALT BEVERAGES

Here is a list of foods to be eliminated or reduced;

FRIED FOOTS, HOT SPICES, VINEGAR, SOFT DRINK, TOTAL FAT, MILK, SHELLFISH, COFFEE and ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
